What is UGC?

I believe social media has changed the way we not only consume content, but also changed how we are marketed to. Nowadays, audiences respond much better to content created by individuals rather than brands. With endless amounts of options (of truly anything) consumers want to fully imagine themselves in a lifestyle rather than product features. Enter User Generated Content (UGC), marketing's secret weapon.
